A Gilded Heart
A Gilded Heart necklace - A heart shaped lampwork glass bead pendant on necklace of black onyx beads.
I created the bead using a torch and glass rods from Italy. The 24K gold leaf was fused on the black glass bead before final shaping in the flame.
24K gold keum boo foil was also fused to the fine silver ball at end of bail wire.
Heart shaped bead is 24mm x 26mm x 8mm - not including silver tube rivet and bail.
Pendant from top of bail to bottom is 38mm (1 ½”)
The heart hangs on a necklace of black onyx beads. Total length is 17 ¾”.
