Large Photo Set-up

This is the set-up I use for photographing large pieces such as sculpture and full necklace shots. The camera is on a tripod, the handle of the tripod can be seen sticking out from the tent between the front lights. The top light is 500 watts and the two front lights are 250 watts. The frame for the tent is built from white PVC pipe. The fabric for the tent is pure white cloth that sails are made from. The background paper is either white or gradated white to gray photo paper that forms a seamless curve from bottom front to top back of frame. I use a smaller version for photographing beads, bangles and other small jewelry items.
